My Background

Pro­fi­ciency for legal and mixed meth­ods research, sys­tem­atic evi­dence syn­the­sis, writ­ing, and the pro­vi­sion of tech­ni­cal assis­tance on legal issues at coun­try, organ­i­sa­tional and indi­vid­ual lev­els. I am an admit­ted bar­ris­ter and solic­i­tor of the New Zealand High Court with exper­tise in global and national health law as well as domes­tic and inter­na­tional human rights law founded upon a tal­ent and pas­sion for analysing pub­lic law issues. Spe­cific sub­ject mat­ter expe­ri­ence cen­tres on issues at the inter­sec­tion of access and gov­er­nance for pub­lic health with cross-cut­ting work on coun­ter­ing the com­mer­cial deter­mi­nants of health and advanc­ing the sex­ual and repro­duc­tive health rights of polit­i­cally mar­gin­alised and sys­tem­i­cally oppressed pop­u­la­tions.
